Charlie captures that moment of dance as a traditionally dressed young Navajo girl dances with her lamb. Her skirt swirls gracefully about her as she spins and points her toe in ballet form. Her attention is focused on her partner, the lamb.
"Desert Ballet" is beautiful not only in the traditional French brown patina but it is also striking in a "cupric nitrate" patina.
